Google Maps Go, published by Google LLC, showed a peak in downloads during the week of January 18 with nearly 50K downloads, before seeing a gradual decline to 29K downloads by the end of March. The app maintained a strong weekly active user base throughout the quarter, starting with over 2.5M in the last week of December and slightly decreasing to just under 2.5M by the end of March.
Waze Navigation & Live Traffic, with its origin in Israel, had a fluctuating download pattern, starting at approximately 26K downloads at the end of December, dipping to 17K in February, and then rising to 24K downloads by the end of March. The weekly active users showed a steady increase from around 447K in the first week of January to over 504K in the last week of March.
